Parent/Community TUPE Presentation Evaluation
Founded in 2018 by three moms as a grassroots response to the youth vaping epidemic, Parents Against Vaping e-cigarettes (PAVe) is a national advocacy and education organization powered by parent volunteers fighting to protect our kids from the dangers of flavored e-cigarettes and the predatory practices of Big Tobacco.

Power to the Parent’s Hidden in Plain Sight room provides parents with clues from a teen’s bedroom to help them determine whether their child might be experimenting with or using drugs or alcohol.

This evidence-based program was shown to substantially reduce students’ likelihood of vaping in the year following program implementation. Students also showed a significant increase in knowledge of the dangers of vaping and an increase in positive perceptions about choosing a vape-free lifestyle.
