Please note all scholarships are subject to approval based on funding availability and not guaranteed until approved and processed. Priority is given to educators, administrators and staff who work with 6th through 12th Grade Levels.

The TUPE Tier 2 Grant funding includes the following districts: Atascadero, Cayucos, Coast, Lucia Mar, Paso Robles, San Luis Coastal, San Luis Obispo COE, San Miguel, Shandon, and Templeton.

Cannabis Education: Cannabis 101 for Educators and Parents

April 20, 2022, 3:30 to 5:30pm

Youth Cannabis Use:  What it is, Why we are concerned, and What we can do!

The TUPE Grant pays a $50 scholarship for SLO County District Educators to attend this training. Please submit the TUPE Training Scholarship Request Form, once approved, register for training. Upon conclusion of the training, an email will be sent that includes the TUPE Training Completion and Payment Request Forms. Fill out the forms and submit to TUPE@slocoe.org.

 

3rd Annual Teaching Cannabis Awareness & Prevention

The 2 day virtual conference will be held on April 27th, 2022 & April 28th, 2022 from 8am-12:30pm PST. Full access will be available to all conference workshops, slide decks, resources, and recordings for up to 1 year after the conference in case you cannot attend during the conference times.
 
55 spots are available for the free registration and scholarship of $100. It is a first come, first serve basis for registration and scholarship reimbursement.  Please submit the TUPE Training Scholarship Request Form, once approved a registration code will be sent to you to register for the training.  Priority is given to counselors, administrators, and health educators.

Alternative to Suspensions Webinar Series: Ed Code

March 22, 2022, 3:30 to 5:00pm

The goal of the Alternatives to Suspension Webinar Series is to share best practices and alternatives to discipline options for schools with students found on campus using or in possession of tobacco or vape products.
